Zoila LR Masiak

Zoila is an Artist, Author, Mother of three and Shamanic Practitioner. She is the youngest of 8, and a child who is an open heart and 10 pacemaker survivor. She spent her first 5 years primarily in the hospitals, with surgeries and a medically induced coma. Though she experienced extreme confinement and a sterile environment, she was lucky enough to be born to parents who embraced and encouraged her sovereignty. She grew up roaming the marshes of Guinea Va. Today, she resides in the Roanoke Valley Region of VA, where she spends most of her time with her children on their homestead.
